Dusun Kim is the Co-Founder and CEO of MediSun, leading a mission to reimagine how the world harnesses power from the ocean. With extensive experience across the global energy and water sectors, he leads the development of Reverse Electrodialysis (Blue Energy), a technology that captures the natural salinity difference between seawater and freshwater to generate renewable electricity. His goal is to develop hybrid desalination and power systems designed to achieve zero-carbon operation, setting new benchmarks for sustainable industrial transformation.Earlier in his career, Dusun Kim served as Chief Business Development Officer at RETD, the marketing arm of the Korea Institute of Machinery & Materials (KIMM) under the Ministry of Science and ICT, where he led international collaboration and technology exchange across the ASEAN region and beyond. Today, Dusun Kim continues to drive MediSun’s vision of advancing sustainable practices, striving to make a meaningful impact within the global business landscape.
