Prof. Chedly Tizaoui

Full Professor of Chemical EngineeringSwansea University

Chedly Tizaoui is a full Professor of Chemical Engineering at Swansea University, UK. He conducts research in water sustainability, focusing on advanced oxidation and separation processes to address emerging threats and opportunities in water including treatment of emerging contaminants, water reuse, and resources recovery. He is currently leading the Water and Resources Recovery Research Lab and has extensively published peer-reviewed scientific articles, book chapters, and conferences, and authored numerous professional reports. His research has been supported by grants from research councils (e.g. EPSRC, BBSRC, Royal Society, the EU), industry, and government funding. He is recipient of the Harvey Rosen Award in recognition of his work on ozone technologies. Tizaoui is the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Ozone: Science and Engineering (Taylor and Francis) and Associate Editor-in-Chief of the Euro-Mediterranean Journal for Environmental Integration (Springer Nature) and is member of the Editorial Board of several other research journals.
