Nour Albesher serves as Assistant Professor of Genetics and Acting General Manager of the Applied Genomic Technologies Institute (AGTI) at KACST. She is also a member of the Center of Excellence committee at King Salman Center for Disability Research (KSCDR), the Saudi Genome Program, and the KACST-Harvard Center of Excellence in Biomedicine. Nour focuses on utilizing genomic applications to enhance public health and tackle key environmental challenges. Her environmental research includes pioneering genomic strategies to improve drought stress tolerance in plants and uncovering critical mechanisms through non-coding RNA research to promote sustainable water and agriculture practices
