Dr. Peng Wang is Chair Professor and Founding Director of Research Institute of Carbon Neutrality and Green Development at Sun Yat-Sen University in China. He was a founding faculty member of King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) and was the chair of Environmental Science & Engineering program at KAUST from 2013 to 2017. He is Fellow of Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC) and Clarivate “Highly Cited Researcher” (2023). He was awarded The Mohammed Bin Rashid Global Water Award (3rd cycle) (2023), ‘Zijin Quanxing Distinguished Alumni Award’ of Nanjing University (China) in 2021, 9th Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz International Prize for Water (PSIPW) (2020), and Nanova Frontier Research Award from the Chinese-American Professors in Environmental Engineering and Science (CAPEES) in 2020. Dr. Wang serves as an Executive Editor of Environmental Science & Technology (ES&T) and Founding Co-President of International Atmospheric Water Harvesting Association (IAWHA) (https://www.iawha.org/).
