Dr. Ramy is a senior researcher at GTI Energy in the United States, specializing in the decarbonization of energy and water systems. His research focuses on sorption technologies for applications such as desalination, dehumidification, space cooling, and heating, with the goal of reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions. Throughout his career, Dr. Ramy has contributed to over 70 peer-reviewed international publications. He was recognized among the top 2% of scientists globally, as listed by Stanford University in both 2022 and 2023. In 2022, he received the Outstanding Researcher Award from the University of Missouri, in the United States and the same year, he was honored with the State Incentive Award in Science from the Egyptian government, Egypt’s highest scientific distinction.
