Isam H. Aljundi is a professor of chemical engineering and the director of the Interdisciplinary Research Center of Membranes & Water Security at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM). He earned his PhD from Cleveland State University in 2001 and went on to establish a blown film extrusion company in Ohio. Over his career, Prof. Aljundi has held academic positions at several institutions in Jordan, Oman, Germany, and Saudi Arabia. His research focuses on membranes, desalination, and water treatment, with notable achievements including 15 patents and more than 130 published articles with an H-index of 25 and more than 3000 citations. He has led and co-managed multi-million SAR projects in the areas of membrane technology, desalination and water treatment.
