Dr. Seungwon Ihm

Dr. Seungwon IHM earned his Ph.D. in mechanical and aerospace engineering from Seoul National University, Korea in 2009. From 2008 to 2018, he worked as a senior research engineer at Doosan Water R&D Center, where he led various R&D projects on thermal and membrane desalination technologies and power-water cogeneration. Since joining SWA-WTIIRA* in 2018, his research has been focused on ocean brine mining technologies, including membrane separation, brine concentration, and valuable mineral harvests such as magnesium, calcium, sodium chloride, and so on.
