Dr. Zhenyu Li

Dr. Zhenyu Li currently holds a senior expert position in Saudi Water Authority. From 2016 to 2024. He served with distinction as a full professor at Northwest A&F University in China. Dr. Li obtained his PhD in Industrial Biotechnology with a specialization in membrane technology from Prince of Songkla University in 2008. During 2009 to 2018, he consecutively worked as Postdoctoral Fellow, Research Scientist and Research Associate at National University of Singapore, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, and Harvard University. Dr. Li’s research interests include membrane process in water treatment and biotechnology, innovation of membrane material and module, sustainability in water-energy-food nexus. He servers as Editorial Board Member for Case Studies in Chemical and Environmental Engineering and Chiang Mai Journal of Science.
