Dr․ Mustakeem Ahmad

Mustakeem Ahmad is a researcher at WTIIRA under the Saudi Water Authority. He earned his Ph.D. in Environmental Science and Engineering from KAUST, Thuwal, where he specialized in improving the performance of membrane distillation desalination systems using localized heating. Beyond his technical background, Mustakeem has held several student leadership positions in organizations such as IWA, Toastmasters, IET, the BESE Division Student Advisory Committee, and various nonprofit groups.His current research centers on enhancing pretreatment for SWRO systems, developing sustainable desalination technologies, and advancing water resource management.
