Richard Barwell

Richard Barwell is Italmatch’s Sales & Marketing Director for the Advanced Water Solutions (AWS) Division’s Middle East & Africa region.He leads the Regional Sales & Service team, covering all segments including Desalination, Mining, HI&I, Geothermal and IWT.He has a Bachelors Degree in Fuel & Energy Engineering from Leeds, UK and has over 27 years experience in water treatment, including 15 years based in the Middle East.The role involves considerable cross-functional collaboration to support innovative solution development and implementation across the region. His passion for desalination has helped support the team to drive technical evolution of both thermal and membrane desalination chemistry and consultative support.
