Dr․ Zhenyu Li

Dr. Zhenyu Li is currently a senior expert at the Saudi Water Authority. He is an expert in the fields of membrane-based technology for water treatment, desalination and food processing, porous and polymeric materials, sustainability of water-energy-food nexus. Before joining the Saudi Water Authority, he was a professor (Tenured) at Northwest A&F University in China. He was selected for Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of China’s 2019 Program for High-Level Overseas Talents to Work in China. He also serves as the Executive Board Member of Youth Committee of Chinese Society of Seawater Desalination and Water Reuse, Research Associate in Kennedy School at Harvard University in USA and Guest Professor at The Center of Membrane Science and Technology, Prince of Songkla University in Thailand. Dr. Li has participated in or led several national key R&D programs and various international cooperation projects, and published more than 60 research papers in internationally renowned academic journals.
