Helen Robinson

Helen is a hydrogeologist with almost 12 years’ experience working on international geothermal, mining, and humanitarian water projects. Helen is the Director of Aquarius Resources, a small consultancy offering a range of technical, advisory, and support services across the energy, mining, and groundwater disciplines, she is also the Global R&D Manager and Regional Manager for Africa at the International Geothermal Association. As an advocate for geothermal she works with stakeholders to identify, include, and develop geothermal resources as part of the energy mix, promoting for a just energy transition, and an energy systems transformation; working closely with the oil and gas sector on decarbonisation and repurposing, and the mining sector as it moves towards Net Zero. Her priority areas are sustainable development and sustainable water practises. Her work in humanitarian groundwater has focused on water quality, access, availability, and security in Least Developed Countries, Small Island Developing States
